Another art museum in Rome is the National Gallery of Modern Art, founded in 1883 and dedicated to modern and contemporary art.

The National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome is also known as the Palace of Fine Arts. Built by the Italian architect Cesare Bazzani, construction began in 1911 and the building was opened to visitors in 1915.

The museum presents over 1100 works of art created in the 19th and 20th centuries. The museum, which is the largest art gallery in Italy, features the works of many famous Italian names such as Umberto Boccioni, Antonio Canova, Lucio Fontana.

The museum has nearly 45 halls and each room is filled with beautiful works of art. You can walk to the art gallery from Piazza del Popolo. You can also walk from Flaminio meter station.
