Jekyll Island history

Where is Driftwood Beach? How to get there?
There are two different ways to get to Driftwood. One of them is the road you can reach by passing through Brunswick. After Brunswick, on your way to Driftwood, you cross the bridge named Sidney Lanier Bridge, which crosses over the Brunswick River and is named after an American poet. The other road comes from the west. These two roads merge into a single road leading to the island and you reach the island by driving on a road surrounded by water for 9-10 km.
After passing through the toll booths on the island, go all the way to the ocean and turn left at the intersection, i.e. north. After about 6 km (on Beach View Drive), you will see a wide area on the left where you can park your car. When you park your car and walk towards the ocean, Driftwood Beach appears and you enter its magical world.
