University of Tartu Botanical Garden, Estonia
Do not leave Tartu without visiting the botanical garden of Tartu University.
One of the oldest botanical gardens in the world, it was designed by Carl Friedrich von Ledebour, who was once a professor at the University of Tartu.


While visiting the botanical garden, you may also encounter unusual sculptures. The botanical garden, which is home to approximately 6500 plants and has an important place among the Baltic countries, can be visited between 07:00 – 21:00 during the summer months.
